Our client based in Leicester is currently looking for a skilled Software Developer with strong .NET, C# skills. The developer role is responsible for the end to end development, documentation and initial support of approved business systems to the business objectives / initiatives. This developer role will be part of the IT Development team, focusing on both internal and client facing projects. Liaising closely with other developers, tester, and project managers. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities Areas • Technical Design Specifications • Development to Specifications • Unit Testing • Deployment • Third Line Support Responsibilities • Responsible for the end to end development and associated documentation for projects allocated, including a technical design, release instructions, and BAU handover documentation. • Initial support of applications once deployed to live, hand over and training to infrastructure support resources and third line support of applications once live. • Provides appropriate communications on development status to project manager. Skills / Knowledge / Experience Required • C# • WPF • LINQ to SQL • SQL Server • Proven development skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Sound judgment and the ability to work under deadline pressure. • Ability to communicate development status and issues to project team. • Ability to work in conjunction with offsite vendor development resources.
