Data Controller – SQL Server – Manchester. Our client based in Manchester is currently looking for a skilled Data Controller with good SQL Server skills. The primary role of the Data Controller is: • To continually monitor, enhance and improve the database held information at the company to aid all areas of the business • To assist every department with the access and management of database held information to allow its efficient and effective use. • To demonstrate professionalism at all times to ensure the highest levels of quality are achieved in all aspects of the role Key Tasks • Maintain and develop core sales lead universes through multiple internal and external data feeds • To add value to data sources through accurate and detailed information verification • Maintain data integrity through application of defined business rules and policies • Creation and management of sales campaigns including performance reporting • Deliver counts and prepare and select mailing campaigns • To be responsible for ensuring work is completed to the highest standard and accountable for results achieved • To communicate in a professional and polite manner so as to promote the good practice of the client to external contacts • To ensure best practice is upheld and to drive improvements in quality standards at all times • Communicate innovative ideas to address any issues Person Specification • Strong understanding of using MS SQL Server 2008, including the creation of functions, stored procedures, SSIS Projects and SSRS • Proven background of working with marketing and client databases in a commercial environment • Ability to learn quickly and effectively and in a logical manner • Willingness to be creative and think of alternative solutions when encountering problems • Good communication skills • Self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude • To be flexible and adaptable • To understand the requirements of being both responsible and accountable Data Controller – SQL Server – Manchester If you are interested in this position- please send your CV to nick.derham@adriasolutions.co.uk or call 01625 874399 for more information.
