.NET / ASP.NET Developer X 2 £30-40K – Stockport C# or VB.NET.

Our client, the market leader in their field and a Microsoft Partner, currently has approximately twenty staff with a development team of eight. They are currently looking for 2 .NET developers with good ASP.NET skills. The Development Team is primarily focussed on developing and maintaining applications for use by internal and external customers using ASP.NET and SQL Server but is also involved in the development of Android and iOS apps (mainly to supplement the functionality of our web applications). Job Summary: General Development Skills • Experience of Requirements, Design, Coding and Testing • Good organisation and problem solving skills Web Development Skills • Previous experience in developing ASP.NET web applications. C# is preferred but we would be happy to accept VB.NET candidates who want to switch. • Ability to write and edit HTML • JavaScript/JQuery skills would be useful SQL Server/RDBMS • Experience of interfacing with RDBMS systems via ASP.NET, preferably SQL Server and creating Stored Procedures and Other Database objects Microsoft Certified Professional • We need developers to gain Microsoft certification in the latest web technologies to maintain our partner status. We are happy to give our staff time to study and pay for the exams Andriod/iOS • As mentioned we are involved in Android and iOS development and while there is no need for existing skills in this area, a willingness to learn these would be preferred Remuneration • Salary 30-40k depending on skills and experience • Bonus Scheme - up to 5% of annual salary • Pension Scheme - available after 6 months service • Healthcare Scheme - available after 6 months service • Training - Work towards MCP Certification.
