Our client based in Wilmslow is currently looking for a SQL Developer/DBA with good Development / DBA and/or MI skills. You will be joining a growing organisation based in the Cheshire area that will offer excellent training and career progression. Core Skill Set: Duties / Responsibilities: •Designing, building, releasing and maintaining bespoke business systems •Developing and maintaining database documentation. •Getting involved in the consultation between other team members and stakeholders for clarity on the requirement & ensuring the quality standards are met throughout. •Gathering and translating data requirements from sponsors into SQL scripts / stored procedures / reporting structures. •Taking ownership of the existing reporting environment and drive changes to improve reporting in general. Successful candidates will have some/all of the following key skills: • T-SQL (Transact-SQL) including stored procedures; • SQL server 2005/2008 • A solid understanding of databases; • Knowledge of a scripting language e.g. VB/VBA. • Experience within a dialler / MI role preferably using Microsoft .Net technologies • SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Cubes, Data warehousing • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. • Strong analytical, problem solving and issue resolution skills • Can-do attitude SQL Developer / MI / DBA – Wilmslow, Cheshire.
