Our Vertical Turning Lathe features a horizontal chuck face orientation, facilitating easier loading and addressing gravity-related concerns. Constructed from sturdy cast iron, the machine incorporates a 4-jaw chuck with detachable jaws. It is equipped with a turret that moves vertically at 90 degrees or can be angled up to +/- 30 degrees. The rail on which the machine is mounted is adjustable, providing increased rigidity and closer proximity to the workpiece. Additionally, the machine includes a side head with a 4-way tool post, allowing for side-turning applications. Control of the machine is facilitated through a pendant, featuring joystick operation for feeds and rapids, as well as pre-select hydraulic control for speed changes.
