Anetic Aid at Arab Health 2013

Arab Health, held in Dubai, is known as the business destination of choice for the Middle East healthcare market – estimated to be close to $80 billion a year. Anetic Aid used the prestigious event to showcase its new generation AT4 Tourniquet System ,- a highly innovative design which is ideal for single or bi-lateral orthopaedic surgery and pain management. Available in both electronic and pneumatic versions, it is intuitive and simple to use, with many special safety features. The electronic version operates from its own integral air supply, removing the need for an external pressure source, while the pneumatic version runs from either 4 or 7 bar piped air services or an E-size pin index cylinder. Both versions have sensitive leak compensation facilities as well as automatic self-diagnostic checks on start-up which mean they are calibrated every time they are switched on. An added safety feature has been incorporated for Bier’s block regional anesthetic procedures (IVRA): it is simply not possible to deflate cuffs in the wrong order, risking the dangerous release of anaesthetic into the rest of the patient’s body. Also on display at the show was the latest model of the company’s flagship QA3 Variable Height Patient Trolley and the QA4 Surgery Trolley System , – which combines the attributes of a patient trolley and an operating table – specifically to meet the needs of Day Surgery.
