New Baildon facility opened by Lord Mayor
30-09-2016
Employing nearly 30 people, we have been supplying operating theatre equipment to hospitals both in the UK and overseas for nearly 40 years.
The move to the Sapper Jordan Rossi Business Park in Baildon reflects our steady growth and it is where our Sales and Marketing, Service, Technical and Customer Support Teams are based.
The facility also enables us to keep many of our 6,000+ product lines in stock for rapid delivery across the UK - and beyond.
The Lord Mayor and other guests had a chance to see our range of British designed and manufactured products and meet members of staff as they were shown around the building.
The Lord Mayor of Bradford said: ‘I'm pleased to be able to officially open the first business here. It is great news for the Aire Valley.’ And Councillor Susan Hinchcliffe, Bradford Council's Executive Member for Employment, Skills and Culture, added: ‘It's good to see companies flourishing and bringing more jobs to the area, and hopefully it will encourage more firms come and see what the site has to offer.’
Andrew Russell from Pendle Russells, the developer behind the new £15m business park, said he enjoyed looking around the facility: ‘Anetic Aid is exactly the type of business that the Baildon Business Park was developed to support and it’s great to see the team operating from this state-of-the-art new facility at last. ‘The company was one of the first to acquire a unit here and this marks the end of an 18-month programme from securing planning to opening the doors. ‘We worked very closely with them to design a building that would meet both their current needs for a high quality manufacturing and testing space, and future requirements for growth, and together I think we’ve created an exceptional facility which will help to support the business for many years into the future.’
Anetic Aid’s Sales Director Andrew Curtin added: ‘We were delighted to welcome the Lord Mayor and all of our guests to join us in marking this latest milestone for our company. We’ve come a long way since opening our doors first in a shop front followed by a tiny converted chapel on Wells Road in Guiseley! ‘It’s taken a lot of hard work and dedication by the people here - and at our manufacturing facility on the South Coast. ‘Today, our products can be found in practically every hospital in the UK, and we are increasingly exporting across the world. This move to new premises in Baildon will enable us to grow the business even further and we are very excited about the future.’
