APPS Canopies Grand Launch APPS Contracting History… APPS Contracting formed early 2021 under the wing of the APPS Corporation, administering the construction of outdoor structures within the commercial and school setting, for a selection of well-established manufacturers, within the UK. At the helm of the business is Sandy Adamson who boasts a wealth of experience within the shade and shelter industry, utilising his experience within the projects undertaken. As APPS Contracting developed, they expanded their range of services to include the supply of a small range of commercial structures, working aside brand partners to develop their offerings within these sectors. This soon overlapped into the domestic sectors with increase in demand for outdoor living creating a gap in the market for APPS Contracting to expand into. APPS Contracting Development… Throughout 2022, Sandy Adamson teamed up with Tom Gosling, who has worked within a sales environment throughout his career. Combining Sandy’s installation experience with Tom’s sales experience, created the foundation for what would be known as APPS Canopies. The new business model would be founded upon both the supply and fitment of a wide range of shade and shelter solutions, including awnings, aluminium canopies, retractable canopies, timber canopies, gazebo canopies and luxury canopies, selected from a handful of premium product providers, ensuring the quality of the range, matched the quality of the installations. The Birth of APPS Canopies… APPS Canopies was launched January 2023 as a separate brand from APPS Contracting, catering specifically for the domestic market. This presents a range of awnings and canopies with a variance in pricing and customisable features, offering a more exclusive choice and end result, for potential clients.
