Consequently, we installed a 580m long path so that a one-way system could be created around the school, to help with their covid measures. Previously, students were just walking on the natural grass; however, the grass couldn’t cope. In addition to this, the school was becoming messy from all the mud and dust during the summer. The Problem Once the schools re-opened after the COVID-19 lockdown, a one-way system needed to be implemented so that pupils could stay within their bubbles and promote sufficient social distancing. With lots of natural lawn and playground areas surrounding the school, the extra footfall quickly destroyed the grass. This resulted in lots of mud, mess, and dust on the pupils' footwear and within the school. The school was also on a very tight budget as they had not factored in the expenditure for a path around the school but needed an affordable solution quickly. The Solution We installed a 580m long path around the edge of the school, using our Pedigree Lawn for their one-way system. Our ex-Crufts Pedigree Lawn is our cheapest product but provides amazing durability and very low maintenance.
