Advanced vibration monitor added to rental fleet

Ashtead Technology has added the Vibrock V9000 Ground Vibration Monitor to its rental fleet of instruments. Portable, lightweight and battery powered, the V9000 is supplied fully calibrated and ready for immediate use, making it ideal for a wide variety of site investigation applications. “Typically, we supply vibration monitoring equipment to companies undertaking demolition, blasting, piling or construction work that involves hard break out, ground excavation or materials processing,” comments Ashtead’s Josh Thomas. “In most cases vibration levels are monitored as a planning condition or in nearby buildings to create a permanent record of vibration during a project so that such work can be eliminated as the cause of any subsequent structural issues that may arise for other reasons.”
