Established in 2009, Ask Engraving is a family run business specialising in the design and production of laser engraved labels for data cabling, IT, telecoms, electrical and engineering industries. Ask Engraving work with customers to make sure cabling installations are labelled professionally with high quality, accurate labels, supplying end users such as Microsoft, John Lewis, Google, Network Rail, The MOD, Barclays, The London School of Economics and The Metropolitan Police. In order to produce a professional product it is important to stay up to date with the latest technology and machinery. Our laser engraving machines are state of the art and are exceptionally accurate in producing the finest detail. The material we use is micro capped acrylic (Traffolyte style, only better) formed with a core layer which is then capped with a contrasting colour. The laser cuts away the text in the surface to reveal the colour beneath. This provides a very durable, professional looking label which will not fade. Labels are backed with a strong 3M adhesive, which ensures that once they are in place they will not fall off.
