Bonomini opened in 1997. Since training with John Frieda and Nicky Clarke in London, I had always wanted to open my own salon and recreate a little bit of that buzzy London feel here in Bristol. Having realised my dream, I was extremely proud when the salon won the top award, Salon of the year at the 2004 British Hairdressers' Business Awards - the icing on the cake.
