Custom rubber moulders, Butser Rubber Ltd (Rubber Manufacturers) are investigating the benefits of new machinary to manufacture rubber mouldings and custom cut gaskets. Butser Rubber is interested in the effect of vacuum within the manufacturing process. Butser Rubber is setting its sites on zero defect manufacture. Current manufacturing processes used by Butser Rubber are much better then the traditional moulding processes, but Butser Rubber has set a target of zero defect which is difficult to achieve with the current moulding technology. Butser Rubber currently manufacture custom rubber mouldings and molded rubber components using: Compression moulding transfer injection moulding And Injection moulding. The vacuum process will improve the compression moulding and drive down the cost of manufacture, which is a saving that can be passed on to customers. This is all set to co-inside with the launch of Butser Rubber's latest product launch, Butser Rubber Straps which are to be manufactured in a low defect process.
