High Pressure Pumps

Cat Pumps is widely recognised as the world leader in industrial reciprocating high-pressure pumps. High quality components, exceptionally long lasting seals and field-proven dependability have made the Cat pump the pump of choice where continuous-duty performance and low maintenance are a priority in industrial applications. All our pumps utilise the proven reciprocating positive-displacement principle, with either 3 pistons or 3 plungers to deliver a smooth discharge from the pump. This is the most cost-effective design for achieving high efficiency and low pulsations. Although Cat pumps will operate at 0.1 litres/min and below, and as low as 7 bar discharge pressure, our specialisation lies in high pressures. ‘High’ means different things to different people, but we use ‘high pressure’ to describe anything above the capabilities of most roto-dynamic (centrifugal) pumps. Cat pumps are most commonly found in arduous applications between 20 bar and 400 bar, delivering flow rates of up to 320 litres/minute per pump and more in multi-pump installations.
