Company: CentraTEQ Ltd has been in business since 2008 and has grown its market presence steadily since this time. The Company is an agent for a number of suppliers from across the world supplying environmental test system in to the automotive, aerospace and defence industries in the UK & Ireland. These systems test a products integrity to withstand the environment it sees during transportation and operation.
The Role:
The Technical Sales Administrators role is key to the development of UK sales for CentraTEQ Ltd. Providing outstanding service and strong technical support is the core of our company ethos and to building strong relationships with customers. These relationships provide a platform for customers to return to us time and time again for their new requirements as they grow their businesses. Working in a small team you will provide technical and administrative sales support. Taking customer enquiries specifying products to meet customer needs. The administrative tasks will include generating quotes, purchase orders for the supply of goods and services. Administrating a project through from order placement to completion including delivery and commissioning. You may be required to make customer visits to build relationships during the project lifespan, bringing it to a satisfactory conclusion. Support other sales team members and be an active member of the sales development and marketing strategy team.
Actively following up sales leads and quotes to ensure the company is in the best position to win contracts.
UK wide travel, exhibition attendance and possible occasional overseas travel will be required.
Skills/Experience:
Essential
• The ability to understand and to communicate on a technical level with both customers and suppliers.
• Likeable personality to engage with internal and external colleagues and customers.
• A solid mechanical engineering understanding and the ability to learn
• Not afraid to take on difficult tasks as well as to handle the routine.
Preferable
• Some sales/customer interface
• Knowledge of product design or testing
Individual:
• The ability to work alone and to take the initiative, and be self motivated
• The ability to take instructions and to follow guidelines.
• Confidence to put forward ideas, suggestions and initiatives of their own.
• Conscientious, hard working and organised.
• Quick to learn and able to integrate with other departments.
• A desire to grow with the Company and to take on a more senior role.
