Aker Solutions- Multiple Zoned Hardwall Cleanroom in DR Congo

What did the client need? Our client required a cleanroom to be installed in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DR Congo) for the servising of subsean components. How did the client benefit? We designed a hardwall cleanroom with localised zones, ranging from ISO class 7-9. Air conditioning and humidity control is also provided, due to the equatorial climate. How did we help the client? We used an assisted installation method, whereby one of our Installation and Validation Engineers oversaw the install by four of our client's skilled labourers. Due to the modular nature of our cleanrooms, this is an effective way of managing an installation in remote locations - both keeping costs down and providing a safe and regulated build.
