What did the client need? OPTOCAP is a technology oriented company active in the field of optoelectronics, microelectronics and MEMS packaging design and assembly services. Its turn-key packaging services enable its customers to reduce development and manufacturing costs; accelerating time to market. When OPTOCAP needed to furnish its new cleanroom facility with bespoke stainless steel work bench stations, they turned to C2C. How did we help our client? After researching existing styles of work stations, OPTOCAP decided on C2C’s bespoke design service for ergonomics, aesthetics and comfort for the operator to perform the processes. OPTOCAP will be performing applications such as die attaching, wire bonding, measuring systems, solder sealing, thermal curing of epoxies, C02 cleaning, assembly activities, visual inspection of microelectronic and optical assemblies. For this, specialist equipment is required and the new work stations feature specially designed gantries, which are the exact size and height to position the equipment. How did the client benefit? OPTOCAP now have stainless steel table workbenches for its cleanroom, which are built to purpose. They found that our customer service and management of the project was very professional throughout; from enquiry to quotation, fabrication and delivery stages.
