What did our client need?
Through its VapeNation facility in Manchester, Supreme Imports manufacture, package and distribute its e-liquid brand 88Vape to many high street retailers. Over the past 4 years demand has grown, so new filling lines were added across the site, protected by softwall cleanrooms. VapeNation knew that to continue growth, they needed to consolidate production.
How did we help our client?
Having already used C2C to build its softwall cleanrooms, VapeNation knew that we were the right partner to build a large modular cleanroom that would house their relocated and consolidated production lines, whilst also being scalable to support ongoing rapid growth.
Our design team were able to incorporate a mezzanine above the cleanroom, maximising on warehousing space for VapeNation. The layout supports the movement of people and product through the cleanroom, with designated areas for materials transfer, flavour store, change area and filling area – linked by a corridor.
How did our client benefit?
To ensure the opportunity for efficiency was maximised within the new streamlined production area, C2C delivered a Cleanroom Training course to educate operators on how correct behaviour can produce a more repeatable production environment.
With improved efficiencies, VapeNation has taken production from 750,000 bottles per week, to over 1 million - making them the largest by volume e-liquid producer in the UK.
