New Appointment

Andrew Sawyer, newly appointed Business Development Director for Coventry engineering has been involved in Aerospace and the Defence market for over 20 years working in technical sales for 1st tier suppliers of motion control and anti-vibration products along with identification solutions to major Airframers and prime contractors. Starting his career as an apprentice precision engineer whilst studying at Loughborough College he had the opportunity to develop skills in manufacturing, production control, quality and design understanding all aspects of the manufacturing process. Andrew’s objective was always to move into technical sales and had the opportunity to join a global Aerospace and Defence business working as their Aerospace Sales Manager – EMEA where he established relationships & gained supplier status at Airbus working & developing business through the introduction of new solutions across all Aircraft platforms. Andrew has held business development roles with large and small businesses alike working within the Aerospace and Defence market and is looking forward to sharing the skills, knowledge and experience gained so far with the Coventry Engineering team to increase market penetration through developing new products and taking existing products into this exciting & challenging market.
