New IMR Test Labs Facility

IMR Test Labs, a business unit of Curtiss-Wright Surface Technologies, are delighted to announce that they are expanding their operations into Europe by opening a new laboratory within the Derby facility. The new laboratory will incorporate all the existing lab employees and equipment currently operating in Derby, but in addition, it will also include all the latest technology, equipment, systems and procedures that make IMR Test Labs so successful. Although the existing Derby laboratory already has Nadcap® accreditation for specialised processes including thermal spray, IMR Test Labs have already commenced efforts to obtain their ISO 17025 accreditation with an audit scheduled for January 2015, closely followed by a Nadcap® audit in February. IMR Test Labs is a leading material testing company that offer a range of services including chemical, mechanical and metallurgical testing to a wide range of industries such as aerospace, transportation, medical, energy production and other high technology industries.
