After the excitement of opening the box and getting the phone out the first thing you notice about these new models from Panasonic is the reduction in size. Panasonic have reduced the size of the base by 10%, which makes the phone look for subtle in your home. The handset, KX-TGA681, now sits on top of the base rather that in it. Not only does this make it easier to pick up and place down the handset when you are using it, but it also adds an aspect of style and sophistication. The next notable new feature on this design is the Noise Reduction Button on the keypad. This will be useful for the KX-TG6811/21 if you are walking around your home on the phone, and you walk into a noisy place, the kitchen or the garden, and you can press this button and it helps to cut out background noise. To help with ease of use on the KX-TG6811/21 Panasonic have reduced the number of buttons on the handset, but then increased the size of each button by 12%. This means that the buttons are easy to press, and harder to press by accident, making it easier to use for elderly friends or relatives.
