We have recently started selling the Trendnet 200Mbps Powerline Adaptor and I will now write a bit about it explaining what it does and why it could be helpful in your home! The Trendnet Powerline Adaptor can be used to stream media around your home. It does this by connecting to your WiFi and creating a network within your home. You can then stream media whether it is film, music or photo’s to TV’s and other computers from one PC or laptop. The first thing I must explain about this device is the speed at which it transmits data, 200Mbps. This is a very fast connection; in fact, you cannot yet get a home internet connection that is this quick. This means you can be sure that the adaptor will not slow your network down and it can be used in the future when your house receives a faster internet connection. The Trendnet Powerline Adaptor is very simple to set up and use. You plug the first adaptor into a power supply that is close to your router. This is because you also need to connect the adaptor to the router using the provided Ethernet cable. You then press the ‘Sync’ button and the adaptor identifies your network and starts to transmit it around your house. The second adaptor then plugs in near the device you want to stream to because the adaptor then connects to the device using the second Ethernet cable provided. Now you are ready to stream!
