Empack Ghent is the Flemish packaging event with a special focus on the food and beverage industry, which is  prominent in East and West Flanders.   The rapid evolution of the market due to  new consumer needs driven by e-commerce, stricter food regulations and advanced technologies means that Empack Ghent was a great platform to meet with buyers and engineers exploring these developments.  Durham-Duplex were delighted to exhibit and enjoyed detailed discussion with highly knowledgeable visitors from across Belgium and the Netherlands who are looking for supply from a proper Sheffield manufacturer rather than dealers promising excellence but delivering poor quality, often Chinese, products.

The visitors were surprised by the full and wide ranging product offering that Durham-Duplex manufacture and the fact that stock is held at our EU subsidiary in Brussels for transport easily across the region.   Stacey Roberts, the EU sales Manager, said ” Empack Ghent was a great show for us building on our presence across the region and our machine knife manufacturing credentials.  Buyers also like the stock holding aspects and technical support we offer which gives them a better result in their factory.”
