Farewell to Martin Wright

The staff at Durham-Duplex and Sheffield Machine knife came together to say farewell to Martin Wright who retired after a full career of which the last 15 were spent fine grinding the difficult bits on machine knives for the Company.  Martin previously worked for Footprint tools and is well deserving of a long and relaxing retirement having trained many young grinders as well as done his own work.  To recognise his service the Company gave him a pair of whisky tasting glasses with Sheffield Pewter bases and a bottle of Staoisha whisky from Islay to christen them with.
