Tyre recycling plant dust extraction system

Dustair were employed to design and install a dust extraction system to serve various processes within a tyre recycling plant. Design problems included separation and filtration of heavy and light particulate, together with the physical constraints of the factory environment. Dustair supplied and installed two main cyclonic pre-separators, fan, ductwork and a tube-type filter unit to serve the main process, together with ductwork and a smaller cyclone and fan upon a bespoke gantry to function as a conveying system for the heavier collected material.
