Our RFID Cable Tie is now available in UHF.

After the success of our HF cable tie we have now released a UHF alternative. Adding the UHF cable tie to our product catalogue allows us to offer an RFID solution suitable for an even wider variety of working environments whilst still utilising the convenience of the cable tie. UHF offers significantly higher read distances, faster data transfer than HF, and can read up to 10 times as many tags at a time. Of course, this isn’t to say UHF is universally better but now we have provided the choice with this exciting new product. The video below shows how this can be used for tagging Shackles and other RFID lifting equipment. Usually, if you are using RFID tags in close proximity to metals and/or electromagnetic interference then HF is still a better option given it is less susceptible to interference. However, our UHF tags offer not just the numerous benefits such as those listed above, but the ability to work in conditions that UHF tags would otherwise be unable to operate in.
