Eldapoint Complete Fleet Renewal with DAF XF 460 Euro 6 Super Space Cabs

he final batch of our fleet renewal program has arrived; this has moved us to DAF as sole supplier for our trucks. This also now moves us to an all Euro 6 fleet with all the advantages for the environment through lower emissions coupled with improved fuel efficiency. We initially took five 460 XF DAF Euro 6 super space cabs last September as a pilot scheme. Following excellent fuel returns and first class service from Adams Morey, our local dealer, we took another two DAFs in January for our Liverpool operation and ordered sixteen more for Southampton. The latest vehicles have been supplied through our leasing partner Axis Intermodal who also supply most of our trailers. This includes four skeletal trailers complete with under slung gensets for refrigerated container work which two are due for delivery in May and another two in August, we are expecting high demand for these specialist trailers.
