Ceramic Knuckle Heaters are used for many different production processes including:
Packaging, Test Equipment, Laboratory Equipment
Food Process Machinery
Vacuum Pumps
Shoe manufacturing Machinery
Injection Moulding
The heater's construction consists of a helically wound resistance spiral, precisely stretched and strung through specifically designed refractory ceramic bricks. The build up of the ceramic brick provides a flexible heating mat, which when placed into a rolled outer metal casing and 4mm thick ceramic fibre insulation, provides an efficient high temperature, high watts density band heater. They were developed to meet industry;s demand for a long lasting, high temperature heater.
Ceramic Knuckle Heaters are capable of reaching temperatures up to 650°C and with its unique flexible design, makes the Knuckle Heater a first choice with most European machinery manufacturers.
