Design :- Manufactured in Aluminium, Mild Steel or Stainless Steel construction, these replaceable element plate heaters provide an alternative to a standard Cast Aluminium or Aluminium Bronze Plate Heater. Utilizing a square section tubular sheathed heating element, which are renowned for their strength, reliability and adaptability, these heaters are easily removable from the plate should a heater break down, allowing our customer to replace the element only and not waste a complete cast in plate, keeping cost to a minimum, and quicker delivery time. New features :- in the design of the “High Temperature Plate Heater” include the option of a minimum thickness of 7mm standard thickness of 16mm - or thicker if required to suit customer specifications. Additional new features also available are insulation incorporated within the plates reducing heat losses and energy costs. For high temperature applications, our plate heaters have a louvered, stand off terminal box which reduces the heat around the terminal area. Elmatic was formed in 1949 by two partners, Cyril Hodges and Franz Skalitzky and today the company is still privately owned by their two sons, Alun Hodges and John Skalitzky. Since 1949 the company has grown steadily, both in terms of turnover and factory size. Today the company employs approximately 160 people and is sited at Cardiff in South Wales in a superbly equipped 45,000 sq. ft. factory.
