The new digital printer will also increase Fascia’s environmental credentials due to its lower energy usage. The production print speed, combined with a print quality of 1440dpi, will also ensure that Fascia continues to turnaround digital prototypes of the highest quality in less than five days, and in many cases, just 24 hours. Other key benefits include: LED curing technology with unique UV-curable ink to add clear coat and white to standard CMYK output. A wider range of effects can be produced such as embossing, tactile finishes and Braille, plus decorative and functional matte and gloss spot varnishes. Suitable for use with a vast array of subtrates, including metallic and synthetic papers, foils, BOPP, PE and PET film. The long-life LED curing technology, which only allows that lamps to function on demand – results in lower energy costs and safer operation.
