There are some aspects of first aid training that are not beneficial to our environment, such as the need to use single use plastic lungs in CPR manikins. This is a necessity to keep learners safe, and currently there isn’t a biodegradable option available, hopefully this is something that will change in time. However, in the meantime I will always look for ways to do the right thing and try to make a difference where I can. Which is why I’m delighted to announce we’ve joined JUST ONE Tree.
