“I had worked with Flowstore while at previous companies to help build stand-alone flow racks, however, this was the first time I had asked them to help build a flow line.
Dan, their Sales Support Manager visited our Norwich manufacturing site to conduct a survey, understand the brief and discuss how best to help us realise our vision of building a flow line for our new, dry-block water dispenser assembly line.
Armed with the initial vision, Dan was quickly able to create visuals of each of the workstations, complete with Kanban and picked-parts racking concepts, individual, custom work stations and product conveyor systems.
A second visit enabled us to further refine the design, improving upon the initial concepts to create a compelling proposal that we, as a management team at Borg & Overström, could easily understand and approve.
The custom, modular designs were fully modelled by James who used his experience to further enhance the designs, to deliver a set of approved designs ready for Flowstore’s manufacturing team. The finished products we received within a few weeks were exactly ‘as drawn’ and fitted together Right First Time.
The whole process was seamless from start to finish and I would strongly recommend Flowstore as an excellent partner, with whom to work with to design and build solutions for manufacturing workstations and parts-handling systems. “
