After more than 16 years as CEO and Head of Global Sales & Engineering at the forteq Group, Rune Bakke retired at the end of November 2022. During his tenure, Rune established a strong global sales and engineering organisation and played a pivotal role in shaping the Group's development.

Welcoming New Leadership
Global Sales: Maurizio Tomasi
We are delighted to introduce Maurizio Tomasi as the new Director Global Sales of the forteq Group. Maurizio began his role on 1 November 2022, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry.
Throughout his career, Maurizio has held various global sales management roles with international Tier 1 automotive companies in both Italy and Germany. His expertise will be instrumental in driving our global sales strategy forward.
Global Technology: Maurizio Cernuschi
Effective 1 January 2023, Maurizio Cernuschi has been appointed Director Global Technology of the forteq Group. Maurizio has been a dedicated member of forteq for 22 years, previously serving as Managing Director of our plant in Zingonia, Italy, and as Director of the Global Pump Business Unit.
His extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of forteq’s products, technical capabilities, and customer requirements position him perfectly to lead our technological initiatives.

We are confident that these leadership changes will further strengthen our relationships with customers and enhance our ability to deliver optimised solutions for their products.
