The 280D model has been widely used among plumbers and heating engineers for many years, giving valuable feedback from a discerning market. Many plumbers said that they often work in new properties with tiny bathrooms and that it would be useful if the lid could be closed whilst the machine was running. One design option offered to them was to have a detachable lid but the plumbers Freeze Master spoke to said it would be too much hassle, something else to put somewhere and could even get broken. The facility to latch the lid down on the hoses and mains lead was the strongest contender. With so many good idea features in hand, many of which would completely transform the product, Freeze Master decided to take the opportunity to bring forward a completely new design of the 280D. The chassis was given a major redesign and alteration in layout and several parts were modified or substituted with the latest versions. Updated electrical components were sourced for the electronic refrigerant delivery system. The new 280D case includes an ergonomically designed lay flat handle. An easy access storage compartment for reducers to freeze 8mm to 28mm runs along the top rear. The new 280D case body has three openings where hoses and mains lead can be slotted so the machine can be used with the lid closed. The new 280D has new multilayer hoses with fittings and manifold attachments designed for the latest demands in cryogenic apparatus. Spare reducer screws are supplied and stored in two panel fixings between the hose positions. Assembly of the new 280D is carried out with the same strict attention to quality and control inculcated in the former design resulting in a top quality performance machine. All machines are supplied with the recently invented Bungee Clamps making them the easiest and most versatile to fit. Freeze cream, insulating towels and gloves are supplied as standard. Freeze Master have managed to provide all of these improvements yet keep the price the same as the previous model. Available in 240V.
