OnSite: Supplier warehouse directly at the customer

OnSite from GF Piping Systems is a new logistics solution that significantly simplifies these processes. Currently they are testing first partners in Europe with promising results. OnSite is a digitally connected supplier warehouse located directly on the premises or construction site of our customers with the parts most needed already there. They are provided with barcodes and can be scanned with a provided handheld. Automatically, paperlessly and in real time, any stock change is reported directly to GF Piping Systems, so that we can arrange an additional delivery if necessary. The billing takes place monthly. A supplied printer allows you to reprint your own barcode labels whenever needed. Kinetics, a global specialist in building technology projects (including microelectronics and biopharmaceuticals) with approximately 2,000 employees, is one of our first on-site partners. At the Kinetics warehouse in Dresden alone, a center of the German semiconductor industry, OnSite constantly maintains or automatically supplies around 800 meters of piping and 1,500 fittings from GF Piping Systems. Labor and administration costs have been reduced. "Kinetics, with 17 offices in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, plans to expand OnSite to include additional sites. Other OnSite partners also supplement their own warehouses with this direct connection of their warehousing to GF Piping Systems in order to reduce their own labor and administration requirements and associated costs.
