SEMICON EUROPA 2024 will once again bring the key players of the semiconductor industry together in Munich from November 12 – 15. Our D-ReX stand-alone solution is a powerful alternative to established systems, such as the Satellite XT, Midas or Midas S2 by Honeywell, the PS-7 by New Cosmos or Riken Keiki’s GD-70D or GD-84D-EX. Featuring Bluetooth connectivity, a mobile app, power-over-ethernet (PoE), Line Integrity Monitoring and LonWorks integrating, the D-ReX goes well beyond the usual standards of gas detection technology in the semiconductor industry. The additional Py-ReX system is perfect if you need a pyrolyzer to monitor particularly toxic or chemically inactive gases.
Gas detection in the semiconductor industry
Gases such as hydrogen fluoride (HF), ammonia (NH3), silane (SiH4) or hydrogen (H2) are essential for the production of semiconductors, but are either highly toxic, explosive or inert. They must therefore be monitored reliably to prevent health and explosion complications and to avoid downtimes.
The D-ReX will give you utmost flexibility in monitoring gases:
- D-ReX PoU: diffusion monitoring at the Point of Use
- D-ReX PoI: external sensor installation up to 1200 m away (Point of Installation)
- D-ReX PoS: gas extraction using a pump from up to 30 m away (Point of Sampling), includes optional monitoring of the hose’s integrity (Line Integrity Monitoring)
Smart sensors for more than 40 gases are available for each version of the D-ReX. Five optional relays allow you to control safety measures and alarms directly on the D-ReX itself.
