MSCP's and parking garages can be clad, externally and internally, using GKD's stainless steel architectural mesh used as a decorative and functional screen, which improves the look of the building visually. The various transparencies of the wire meshes would allow daylight to flood through and improve cross-ventilation, these benefits would potentially reduce the cost of electricity and capital cost of various systems required. Installation time could be reduced considerably thanks to large panel sizes (30m high x 8m wide) being available from GKD. The wire mesh façade can be installed flat or curved depending on the preference or desired effect. When lit-up inside, the view of the building can be rather transparent. Some advantages of wire mesh façades: it acts as a rain and wind screen but also can be used as a balustrade in a multi-storey car park. The material is weatherproof; corrosion resistant; fully recyclable; low maintenance.
