Growing team

Go Geothermal has added to its growing team with two key sales-related appointments.

Grant Johnson and Phil Jones have joined the company as Key Account Managers.

Grant will cover the Midlands region and Phil the Wales and South-West region and have been tasked with managing the existing Go Geothermal customer base in their areas, as well as exploring new business opportunities, with housing developers among the key targets.

Grant has eight years of technical and sales experience and has joined Go Geothermal from a company which specialised in whole house heating solutions, from underfloor heating and air source heat pumps through to mechanical ventilation heat recovery (MVHR).

He said: “I am delighted to have joined Go Geothermal and am looking forward to making my own contribution to the further growth of the company.

“It starts with getting to know all the products in detail. I have always been technically minded and like to know the in’s and out’s of everything and don’t like being asked a question I can’t answer!”

Phil has worked in the heating industry for almost 40 years, with over 20 years spent in renewable energy, including solar thermal and heat pumps.

He worked with Viessman, the world’s leading manufacturer of high-efficiency heating and renewable energy systems and one of the companies for whom Go Geothermal supplies products.

Phil said: “I am pleased to be joining Go Geothermal at a time when the company is actively growing and extending its reach across the UK.

“It’s a great opportunity, especially as the renewable energy sector continues to flourish as more people become aware of the importance of switching from fossil fuels to more environmentally friendly and efficient heating solutions.”
