GWMQ to support Mini’s tournament 26-28 Feb

Guardian Wealth Management Qatar (GWMQ) will be title sponsors for the Mini’s tournament, which takes place at Doha Rugby Club on February 27 and 28. The two day event will see youngsters from countries like Bahrain and the UAE competing. Among other sponsors are Grand Hyatt Doha, who will be supplying catering throughout the weekend. Jason Morris, vice chairman of Doha Rugby Football Centre, said, “This year we are expecting over 900 players who will be competing in both tag and full contact rugby. The competition will be particularly tough again as in addition to teams from Al Khor and Qatar French, we will also be hosting Abu Dhabi Harlequins, the Dubai Hurricanes and Dubai Exiles. The emphasis is firmly on family, fair play and enjoyment.” MikeTindall-smile-afterEx-England rugby legend Mike Tindall will also be on hand to present the winners medals and sign autographs. David Russell, CEO of Guardian Wealth Management in Qatar, added, “I remember playing rugby as a boy, where an away game was a walk to the next park or trip on this bus. These boys and girls have the fantastic experience of travelling on planes, playing on great pitches and feeling like professionals already. It is so important that we support the next generation of players and this is why I made sure that GWMQ were involved.”
