At the time Terrence was an engineer working for Ward & Goldstones (now Volex PLC) a major cable & harness supplier too automotive and aerospace. Terry was frustrated at not only the lack of availability for quality cable & wire identification and protection products but also by the poor service that often accompanied the limited product lines. Terry was convinced he could design, develop and subsequently manufacture and service his own products better. The company began life in the loft conversion of the family home, giving birth to the name Hilltop. The business remains in the Hill family, with numerous other family members’ part of the team. Hilltop Products has since expanded into a specialist supplier of insulation sleevings and heat shrink tubing’s for commercial and industrial applications; we are a one stop shop for electrical insulation, cable protection and cable identification products.
