Coronavirus Update

Hodge Clemco is closely monitoring the ongoing situation with respect to the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and are following official UK Government guidelines. Our main priority is the safety and welfare of our customers and employees. With that in mind, as of 1st April 2020, Hodge Clemco will be operating with a reduced workforce with regards to our Sales and Despatch, Purchasing and Goods Inwards departments. For those employees still attending a Hodge Clemco site, strict social distancing measures have been adopted. Hodge Clemco has a robust plan in place to minimise the effect to our customers in these uncertain times. We are in constant communication with our supply chain and logistics partners to ensure we can meet our customer’s requirements. However, if your company has limited the access to your site which may impact upon our deliveries and interaction with you, please communicate this to our sales office and we will ensure this information is logged and acted upon. All other employees will be placed on furlough for the month of April, which will then be reviewed on an ongoing basis by senior management. Hodge Clemco have also pledged to our employees to cover any balance of their wages not met by the Government’s Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme.
