Meet the Heroes of Organic Chemistry!

/// IKA is inviting 10 scientists to San Diego, CA Staufen, Germany - Given the close collaboration with scientists, IKA customers have the possibility to travel to San Diego, California to visit the IKA Research & Development site and meet world-renowned scientists Phil S. Baran and Jin-Quan Yu, both from the Scripps Research Institute. With the launch of the new IKA Plate (RCT digital) hotplate stirrer with lifetime warranty, every package has a disposable camera. Any scientist with the camera has the opportunity to snap a picture of the IKA Plate (RCT digital) in action and to submit the photo via eMail to ikaplate@ika.com by June 30th, 2017 at 23:59:00 EDT. Of all submissions, a panel of 5 jurors will select the 10 best images and invite their owners on a 5 day trip (including travel days) to San Diego, CA, USA. We will notify the 10 best pictures via eMail on July 17th, 2017. Not only will the winners peak behind the curtains of the IKA Research & Development site in San Diego, but they will also have the chance to meet the hero's of organic chemistry, Phil Baran and Jin-Quan Yu and to ask questions and receive insight into current science topics. All expenses (flight, hotel, transfer, meals) are borne by IKA. Excluded are expenses for personal items and activities. All entries that were not selected for best picture will receive a free IKA t-shirt.
