Inplas featured in Lucite newsletter

Inplas was featured in Lucite's 'The Source' Newsletter: The Source - November 2012"Approved Perspex® fabricators, Inplas, have used Perspex® Spectrum LED Opal 1TL2, together with coloured Perspex® Frost and Perspex® Fluorescent acrylic sheet, to create five fluted pylon lights for the 2012 Illuminations at Blackpool’s Pleasure Beach promenade. Inplas created five laser cut, vertical fluted lights made from opal Perspex® Spectrum LED. Each light has five circular discs made of Perspex® Frost and Fluorescent sheet in a variety of bright colours and lit by 15 LEDs. The excellent light transmission properties of Perspex® Spectrum LED ensure that there is improved diffusion of light to give an attractive bright appearance with no visible hot spots. The pylon lights were designed by artist Jo Berry and inspired by the vintage style of the illuminations of the 1930’s. The lights were laser cut and fabricated by Inplas, with on-site installation by Blackpool Borough Council’s Illuminations team."
