November 5th and arson attacks
Bonfire night is a time of fun and celebration for many, but the easy availability of fireworks poses a particular threat to businesses and homes.
A large organised firework display or even a shared family firework party can be great fun for kids and grown ups, but whilst most people use fireworks responsibly, there are inevitably an element who are prone to misuse them.
In the UK alone, there are over 250,000 arson attacks every year and the period around November 5th is of course a busy time for fire brigades across the country.
A firework through the letterbox, whether a childish prank, or a malicious attack, can cause devastating damage to the property and in the case of a business, could even cause the business to fail (according to statistics, around 66% of business that suffer a serious fire, fail within 18 months).
An anti arson mailbox such as the MailPro, simply fits over the letterbox on the inside of the street door of the premises and collects anything posted through the letterbox.
Any burning material posted through the letterbox will instantly trigger one of the internal fire extinguishers, which will instantly extinguish it, whilst a secondary extinguisher (where fitted) will protect against a secondary attack (in around 70% of arson attack incidents, statistics show that where the initial attack fails, a second attempt is made almost immediately).
The Anti-Arson Mailbox offers a simple low cost solution to protecting against arson attack through the letterbox - can you afford not to protect your building or home? - for an instant solution to the problem visit;
