Intension began life in 1972 as Cardiff Canvas & Rope manufacturing sewn products such as tarpaulins, covers, slings and webbing straps but by 2001 it had seen its traditional work withering away along with the demise of many Welsh industries.

Since then, the company has changed out of all recognition into a thriving modern business able to compete at all levels - from small scale bespoke commissions to vast international projects.
