When HSBC launched their Premier brand, they wanted to create an effect as close as possible to an overnight change. Quite a tall order, with 127 sites in the UK alone.
We started out by helping design company Fitch to develop a 3D look for the brand, and building prototypes to test our concepts over different types of signage. Working closely with HSBC Premier’s product development team, we then went on to survey all of the sites around the country, with weekly meetings to assess how best to transform them to the new brand.
The result was that 127 sites had completely changed over in just two weeks – with illuminated external fascias and projecting signs, window vinyls, internal manifestations, pod screen graphics, ATM signs and freestanding illuminated totems. We also helped to overcome technical problems and ensure the right quality of graphics and finish in other countries around the world including Canada, Japan and USA – as well as supplying and installing all the signage in France, Czech Republic and Poland
