British manufacturer Karmelle Ltd presented its widest array of running machinery to date at PPMA 2018, demonstrating everything from an entry-level bench top filler to a three-point wraparound labeller and fully automatic ‘T’ cork capper.
For longstanding exhibitor Karmelle, the event was an opportunity to showcase its growing product-range – which includes liquid filling machines, capping machines and labelling machines, built in West Yorkshire.
The company unveiled working bench top and semi-automatic filling machines, and a fully-automatic labelling system – as well as launching its new ‘T’ cork capper, which was developed for a leading gin distillery. Visitors also had the chance to see an 8 head, atex-ready volumetric filling machine, designed for solvent-based products.
Karmelle’s Managing Director Peter Krawczuk, who was in attendance with Operations Director Brian Dickinson, said: “Quality has always been of paramount importance to us – and, after bringing our manufacturing process in-house, we were able to develop capping and labelling machinery to complement our precision-engineered liquid filling equipment.
“This means that companies can single-source entire liquid packaging lines from us, which is something we are very proud of.”
The PPMA show was also an opportunity for Karmelle to connect with new and existing customers.
Peter added: “We received exciting enquiries from companies in the food and drink, pharmaceutical, personal care and FMCG sectors, and were very pleased with the quality of visitors to our stand.
“The mood at the show was buoyant, and we are looking forward to following-up with some interesting new contacts.”
