Olive, Cheddar & Red Pepper Savoury Scones

LIST OF INGREDIENTS
80g Butter, chilled
3 cups Plain White Flour
6 tsp Baking Soda
1 jar Cypressa Greek Halkidiki pitted olives with garlic, red pepper & herbs. Drain and roughly chop
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 cup of milk
Extra grated cheddar for the top of the scones
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 200°C
Sieve the flour and baking soda into a bowl. Cut the butter into the flour and using your hands rub the butter into the flour until fine crumbs are formed. Stir through the grated cheese and chopped olives, peppers and garlic. Make a well in the centre of the mixture and add the milk. Using a knife, slowly stir the milk into the flour and form a dough. A little extra milk or flour may be required to form the dough, it should only be slightly sticky when completely combined. Try not to overwork the dough.
Transfer the dough onto a lined baking tray and sprinkle with extra cheddar cheese. Cut the scone dough into 10 scones and bake for 12-15 mins or until golden brown.
