Double Glazing Vacuum Lifter

Double glazed window units come in all shapes and sizes and often present manual handling issues. Traditional glazing vacuum lifters typically are only good for single panes of glass and are not suitable for multi pane units. Kilner Vacuumation has recently developed an adjustable vacuum lifter to accommodate D.G. window units. Sizes from 70cm x 122cm up to 450cm x 211cm can be handled, the vacuum pads are highly configurable which provide a compact format for small windows and wider spacings for larger window units. The window units can also be rotated manually for use in either landscape or portrait orientation. The glass can also be manually tilted between 85 and 90 degrees for insertion into window apertures. The vacuum lifter is intended for production environments where window units need to be installed in modular buildings. Variations on the equipment can be provided and tailored to the customers exact requirements.
