As a direct response to customers’ requirements for special surface finishes, Knight Precision Wire has developed a range of speciality surface finish and wire cleaning equipment ; Mechanical polishing – a purpose built line of bristle and pad rotating brushes to remove residues and impart a high polish to the wire. Vibro-polishing – automatic wire cleaning, polishing, de-burring, drying and collection for short wire lengths or small wire/metal parts. Vapour degreasing – hot vapour degreasing chamber for cut-to-length and coil wire cleaning. In-Line Ultrasonic cleaning – a purpose built spool to spool continuous ultrasonic wire cleaner capable of high performance wire cleaning. Removes all traces of wire drawing lubricant and residues.
